Join us for a special Latin Sounds concert on Sunday, September 24, from 3 to 5 pm, with legendary percussionist Pete Escovedo, in conjunction with LACMA's new exhibition Found in Translation. Pete Escovedo's name has been synonymous with breaking the barriers between jazz, salsa, and Latin jazz for over 40 years. Pete’s versatility as a percussionist has been featured in performances and recordings by a wide range of artists such as Shiela E., Poncho Sanchez, Barry White, Boz Scaggs, and Anita Baker.

Latin Sounds

Latin Sounds every Saturday evening from 5-7pm in the park behind the main entrance to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Bring a chair, blanket, possibly some food, and enjoy world-renowned artists playing the hottest sounds from Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Cuba, and Los Angeles.. There is often Salsa dancing happening up front!
